Hunterseat
The area of 8400ha lies in the north-eastern part of Baranya County, and belongs to the Eastern Mecsek Natural Reserve. 92 percent of it is forest where oak, beech and Austrian oak trees reach for the sky.
The area is 400-500m above sea level, and the highest peak of Mecsek Mountains can be found here (Zengő 682m).
The area does not belong to the areas where hunting is easy to, because of its mountainous terrain. You can hunt from shooter's post or stalking, hunters should be in good condition.

There are 95 shoter's posts available. Beatings for wildboar are well organised, and there is also a good possibility for sniping.
Since this are does not have its own hunter seat, accommodation and catering is found in any of the following pensions:
a.) Hotel "Beta Kövestető-Hosszúhetény", 16 double rooms, very nice landscape.
b.) Pension "Kisújbánya", 2 double, 3 triple rooms with bath/toilet, village landscape.
c.) Pension "Vadgesztenye" in Magyaregregy, with 11 rooms of 1 to 4 beds.
